Twinkle & Teddy’s Grand Adventure

Location: Raye Freedman Arts Centre, Corner of Gillies Ave. (Newmarket End) & Silver Road, Epsom

‘Twinkle & Teddy’s Grand Adventure’ is a fun and enjoyable introduction to the wonderful world of dancing and theatre. The show features all of the babyballet characters, while the different themed sections allow the children to express themselves and have fun in a relaxed setting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Registration is only open to children enrolled in our Movers (3 & 4 years) and Groovers (4 ½ – 6 years) classes.
  • Your child must be fully enrolled at babyballet Albany, Epsom, Remuera or Wairau Valley to participate in the show.
  • Children participating in the show will be required to have their own pair of plain pink ballet shoes, available in our online shop.
  • Your child will be required to attend a costume fitting approximately 4 weeks prior to the show. Further details to come.
  • On show day you will be checking your child in at the backstage door. They will then be in the very caring hands of our babyballet teachers and backstage chaperones. Parents & Carers will not be allowed backstage.
  • Show registration closes on Sunday the 11th of June 2024. There are limited spaces available so please don’t wait too long!

SHOW REGISTRATION FEE

The show fee is required for your child to participate in this magical and truly memorable event. We do everything we can to keep this fee to an absolute minimum but please know that our babyballet shows have been produced to a very high level in the UK and we are very excited to have the rights to produce them here in New Zealand. To give you a sneak preview into what you can expect from show day, we invite you to watch the highlights video of the ‘Twinkle’s Dream’ show that was performed last year by our babyballet® stars.

REGISTRATION FEE: $75 PER CHILD, INCLUDES:

  • Costume hire.
  • babyballet® character souvenir show T-shirt.
  • Professional show video (downloadable link).
  • Live stage photos. This will include a selection of group photos of the children performing on stage (digital downloads)*
  • Performance socks (to keep).
  • Participation certificate.
  • Tickets to watch the show are NOT included in this fee.

* The show registration closes on the 10th of June 2024. Once paid the show fee is NON refundable, even if you decide your child is not going to take part, as show t-shirts, costumes etc. all have to be pre-ordered in advance.

SHOW TICKETS

  • Theatre tickets will go on sale from Monday the 29th of July 2024
  • Tickets will be available for purchase on www.iticket.co.nz
  • Your child will not need a ticket as they will be backstage during the entire show

PHOTOGRAPHY

We have arranged the wonderful Belinda Coles to photograph this magical event. She will be backstage taking posed photos of your child in their beautiful costume. You will have an opportunity to purchase the photos from her via an online gallery which will be emailed to you after the show.

* By registering your Child, you understand and agree that:

1. Your Child’s full name will be in the show program
2. babyballet® show photographs will be taken of your Child
3. A babyballet® show video will be taken of your Child
4. Your Child’s image may be used in a babyballet® show press release to both local media and international media
5. Your Child’s image may be used in a babyballet® promotional video for international online promotion and marketing including social media
