In November 2021, babyballet® launched their first ever childrens story book to their UK audience. And now, in March 2022 the children’s ballet franchise brand are launching internationally, as a special way of celebrating World Book Day 2022!

Twinkle and Teddy in the Rainforest, follows the two much loved babyballet® characters on their journey through the jungle, using fun, interactive features to keep our babyballet® stars reading and learning.

The story gives children fun facts about the rainforest and the chance to download and complete their own animal activity sheets! And with three scannable QR codes in the book, readers are given the chance to ‘tune in’ to the interactive elements of the story, so they can sing and dance along with Twinkle and Teddy at home.

This world book day, we were over the moon to see our babyballet® stars dressing up as their favourite babyballet® story book characters!

In relation to the book launch, Claire O’Connor, the founder of babyballet®, said, “This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for babyballet®. With beautiful illustrations to accompany, the story has been written by schoolteacher, Sue Parsons, who ensured the educational value of the experience is as great as the entertainment. Sue said, “It’s so exciting to have released this book! What a wonderful opportunity for babyballet’s dancers to further explore the babyballet® world and its characters using both educational and creative stimuli.”
